Posting on your lunch break is an extremely new thing for me, and I'm not sure I'm a fan. Especially when posting photos of mini breaks while sat at your desk. And especially if said work desk is piled high with work which has begun to topple over and is threatening to cave in on you.
Please, Hunter Valley, TAKE ME BACK!
Off topic (to avoid any form of travel bug-related depression), I've learnt a few things while in the Hunter.
1) Wearing lace, even with nothing underneath, does not save you from 40 degree heat.
2) Wearing plastic-type skirts (see below) in aforementioned weather is highly uncomfortable for obvious reasons. The same generally applies to leather (or PVC, if that's your thing...)
2a) Said plastic skirt can stand up on its own, similar to a witch's hat.
3) Visiting gardens in such heat is also not the brightest idea. Sadly, the flowers are a bit droopy-looking.
If you listen to Sydney weather forecasts, we're "in for a scorcher", and so, with this in mind, you're pretty much set (read: doomed)!
